I was born and raised in Honduras. I moved to the United States in 1995 and attended Florida International University. Here obtained a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications (TV Production). My career in Mass Communications started in 1998 as an intern at MTV Networks Latin American division in Miami. From there on, I worked in various broadcast/cable networks primarily targeted towards the Hispanic audience in the United States With over 20 years career experience, I created programming strategies to create audience growth and retention for media networks and included programming strategies major world sports events such as FIFA World Cup 2014 and UEFA Champions League 2018-19. While coursing my MBA at Nova Southeastern University, I learned about organizational behavior and immediately became interested in the subject. Throughout my career in media I learned that a satisfied employee would go the extra mile to achieve organizational goals. Due to this, I decided to pursue a doctoral degree in business administrations (DBA) at Florida International University, focusing on organizational behavior and employee related issues. With this blog I primarily look to create awareness and conversations about organizational behavior topics with the purpose to create better working environments.
